The 47/48RE Is one of the baddest 4 speed automatics out of the Dodge camp. Westminster Transmission custom builds each one to suit the particular modifications and amount of load you need to haul, however we have 3 levels as a guide for what we can do and what upgrades we offer.
Level 1 (stock) includes:

- Rigid 2nd gear band with racing red lining
- New seals/ sealing rings
- New gaskets
- New filters

- Patented manual valve to charge the converter in park allowing fluid level to be checked in park and neutral
- Redesigned pressure regulator valve to increase lube oil

- Billet over sized 2nd gear servo piston with 11% more holding power
- Billet 2d gear apply lever and anchors to prevent breaking
- 300M input shaft with chromoly direct clutch hub
